Lauren Sharifi Nutrition is a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed virtual private practice specializing in Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). We primarily support older adolescents (16+) and adults who have often felt misunderstood, pressured, or pathologized in traditional food and eating spaces.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian who deeply aligns with this approach and wants to practice in a space that values collaboration, reflection, and sustainable change.

This role focuses on individuals ages 16+, providing virtual outpatient nutrition counseling for ARFID and related eating differences.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed medical nutrition therapy
  • Support clients in building sustainable nourishment through safety and regulation
  • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and treatment teams
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision
  • Maintain documentation and care coordination
  • Optionally support groups, educational resources, or practice growth initiatives

Starting hours: approximately 15–20 per week, with flexibility and opportunity to grow into full-time as caseload expands.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Active Massachusetts license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Commitment to weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming care
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Availability for at least one evening per week
