These Frozen Banana Pops make a great healthy treat, snack or addition to any meal!
Truth. Blogging is hard when you have a toddler, an infant and it’s summer time. All you want to do in your spare time is enjoy the outdoors. So here I am at the end of the summer finally getting around to sharing one of our families favorite summer snacks. These Frozen Banana Pops. It’s also a great way to use up those over ripe bananas you have laying on your counter right know.
I have tried making them a few ways but this recipe below is my favorite. Banana + yogurt+peanut butter+ chocolate! I also added some hemp seeds for added crunch and protein/fat.
But you can do just about anything your heart desires or add toppings you or your kiddos enjoy. Try getting them involved picking out the “glue” aka the yogurt and/or nut butter plus sprinkling on any fun toppings like chocolate chips, sprinkles, crushed nuts, seeds, or other chopped up fruit.
My son has been loving anything on a stick these days so the Banana Pops have been a big winner and are great when you are in need of a quick cool snack or side for a meal. I also admit to eating them just as often as my son!
