Introducing the ARFID Caregiver Community

This community was created in thanks to the success and positive response to our Adult ARFID Community and well as feedback from caregivers expressing their need for more neurodivergent affirming ARFID nutrition resources, guidance and community connection.

Our goal with creating this space is to connect caregivers to a community of individuals that can help support and guide them as well as provide resources and support from a registered dietitian. We are aware that ARFID support and “recovery” can look very different from person to person. This space is not intended to treat or cure your loved one’s ARFID, rather to provide a space to find the neurodivergent- affirming resources and support you need to help discover ways to nourish their body that prioritizes their individual basic needs, autonomy and felt safety.

Our membership platform houses over a dozen printable handouts and educational presentations as well as dozens of additional ARFID specific recommended resources including books, podcasts and tools. New resources and educational presentations will be added monthly based on feedback and requests of the members of the caregiver community.

We are aware that being able to access affordable care for ARFID is difficult and hope this space will provide a more affordable option. If being able to afford the membership to this community is still difficult please contact Lauren regarding equity pricing.

If you have more questions regarding the community or membership check out our FAQ below or contact Lauren.

*This group is NOT for those with ARFID. We have a separate community for Adults 18+ with ARFID! Adult ARFID Community

This group is not for those looking for a quick “fix” or a magical cure to their loved one’s ARFID. ARFID support and “recovery” is very individual and looks different person to person. This group will provide you with neurodivergent affirming approaches to supporting and caring for your loved one so they can eat and nourish their body in a way that supports their individual needs.
